Debut double album from Mixelated! Finding Time is about the challenges and rewards of creating music in an increasingly busy, fast paced world.

George Matt Bowles on synthesizer and keyboard performance, with 2 to 3 various keyboards midi chained simultaneously in real time performance with hardly an overdub to be found. Layers of analog and vintage digital sounds coalesce to form fragmented sections of glimpses into a veteran multi instrumentalist finding a newfound focus on electronic music created by outboard gear.

Guitar pedals are also used such as the Red Panda Particle pedal to glitch out vintage electronics without relying on computer processing done post-production, as well as running the drum machine through the triple delay from TC Electronics for a dizzying array of possibilities.

This is just about as close to hearing a live performance on multiple keyboards as possible, but edited into fragments resembling compositions and fragments of raw performative intensity.

Curated from 3 different recording sessions from the spring of 2023, only minimal computer post production and overdubbing was utilized in the creation of this album.

Side 2 features 5 tracks at the core of the double album, closing out the initial movement and on to the next "disc"... my personal favorite side of the 4!
